The Legislature of the Province of Tierra del Fuego AIAS declared the JBU of provincial interest, highlighting its commitment to the preservation of biodiversity, its contribution to environmental education and the harmonious interaction of people with nature.
The illustrator, muralist and master in art history gave a workshop in the Tea House of our Garden. It was attended by 12 participants who were able to enjoy the Chilean artist's knowledge of the taxonomic drawing of plants.
Throughout the summer, different work days were held with volunteers from the garden. Some of them were called and organized and others arose out of the interest of those who came to visit and wanted to contribute something to the project and were coordinated by members of the garden.
The painting workshop given by Prof. Monica Alvarado took place last weekend in our tea house. The autumn nature was the inspiration to create unique works of art. Thanks to all participants and to @yatana.arte for joining the organization of the workshop!
We carried out a learning day on pruning of corintos and soil preparation technique during the winter season ❄️ The activity was given as part of the horticulturist course taught by Ceflu - Inta, in charge of Professor Katy Pohjola. Thank you for sharing this learning with us!

Within the framework of the agreement signed with the National University of Tierra del Fuego (UNTDF), the biology student, Julieta Ferreyra, is carrying out a Supervised Professional Practice to develop a database proposal for the Garden's plant collections.
